........ substantive work to be done right now

77:41

the federal government has a trust

77:44

responsibility under that treaty that

77:47

the P op tribe of Indians signed with

77:49

the government when everything was taken

77:51

it was a trade and in trade for that we

77:55

were to get certain things so the

77:57

government has a trust responsibility to

78:00

the pl tribe of Indians the government

78:02

then delegates its authority for permits

78:05

environmental impact statements all of

78:09

the authorities for those things to the

78:11

states or regional organizations or city

78:14

organizations and that responsibility

78:17

that goes along that trust

78:19

responsibility goes with that delegation

78:23

the trust responsibility goes with the

78:28

delegation of those authorities you have

78:31

an opportunity

78:31

now to recognize us on an issue that we

78:34

hold dear and we take very seriously and

78:37

you have that opportunity now to consult

78:40

with us on a request for a supplemental

78:41

environmental impact statement I don't

78:44

ever want my kindness to be mistaken for

78:46

weakness

78:47

I come from resilient people and I have

78:50

to fight for those people the people

78:52

that fought for me before I was born and

78:54

the people that I fight for that aren't

78:56

born yet

78:57

we simply cannot take the good in this

79:00

relationship and refuse to discuss the

79:02

bad we can't ignore each other we take

79:05

this very seriously and I want you to

79:07

hear our request I humbly invite you to

79:10

discuss the Puget Sound liquefied

79:12

natural gas project with our Council and

79:14

as was stated by a port Commissioner

79:16

that we both know and respect a

79:18

relationship in this relationship we

79:21

don't want to remember be remembered for

79:23

how it started but how we finish it

79:25

thank you

Tibet is a mainly Buddhist Himalayan area of plateaus and mountains, known as the "roof of the world", it has been governed by China as an autonomous region for almost seven decades.

And Beijing claims a centuries-old sovereignty over the region.

But the allegiances of many Tibetans lie with the exiled spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama.

For China he's a separatist threat, a living God for his followers.

Huge crowds gathered at his temple in Northern India on Sunday to commemorate 60 years since the failed Tibetan uprising against Chinese rule.

Supporters of the 83-year-old Spiritual leader prayed at the Buddhist shrine in Dharamsala, where the Dalai Lama established a government-in-exile.

But how long can Tibetans pursue their struggle?

And what's Beijing doing to win the hearts and minds of Tibetans?
